We went to a nearby supermarket to buy some food for lunch after the visitors left their bags in my house. They mainly bought Japanese food such as natto (fermented soybeans), manjyu (steamed buns), sashimi (raw fish), and so on. They said, “We feel like we are Japanese while shopping at a local supermarket. It’s a lot of fun.” After we went back home, I explained about the history of tea ceremony, Sen no Rikyu, a famous tea master, and “Ichigo Ichie” meaning “Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur’” and they experienced tea ceremony. After that, we had all the food we bought at a supermarket for lunch. They had difficulty having natto. After visiting Okinawa Traditional Dance Preservation Society, we went to Yokomizo Residence. All of them were so happy to see hina dolls in a large room, and received a battledore decorated with Fuji Musume (wisteria maiden) in a glass case as a present there.
