Four Indonesian students who had participated in our Kamakura tour last fall joined in a Japanese paper doll making workshop in October, for they wanted to make it by themselves.  This time, they asked us to teach them how to make a paper doll at a gathering of Indonesian students at the Ooka International Residence.  Though it was a sudden request, four of our members went there.  All of them made excellent dolls and appreciated this workshop because our leader gave a sample paper doll to each of them, our member carefully taught them into the details and they were clever with their hands. After the workshop, we joined a lunch party and deepened exchanges.
