We visited Mr. and Mrs. Y’s house with the tea room in Kamakura. We experienced a traditional but casual tea ceremony by having Tea Kaiseki dishes, some sweets and green powdered tea.  The students enjoyed tempura made by the husband and soy sauce flavored rice with some ingredients asking for another serving and saying, “Delicious!”  They made green powdered tea by themselves after having a bowl of tea. Then, they had a chance to wear kimono over jeans. They looked perfect in kimono as they were young and cute. It was successful thanks to the wife though there were several things missing to wear it.
