Guiding an International Fetal Medicine Group around Kamakura

We headed for Kotokuin Temple from Shonan Village Center by two buses. On the buses, we introduced ourselves, explained about our organization, and described Kamakura as we viewed the scene of it out of the window. At Kotokuin Temple, the group people of each bus enjoyed shrine maidens’ dance, visited the Great Buddha, and its inside without any problem. After that, we moved to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine by bus, went into the shrine through the path where Yabusame, or the horseback archery is held. As we described the surroundings, we went on from the other gateway part of the walkway called Dankazura. Then, at the very end of the tour, we strolled the Komachidori Shopping Street. At our preparation stage, we had some concern resulting from misunderstanding between the Society of Medicine and us. Yet I was relieved to find that everything was settled with the cooperation of my colleagues, the secretary of the Society of Medicine, and its doctors who had given us a help.
