This time the participants experienced jiyuka (free style ikebana).  I explained about the history of ikebana (flower arrangement), what to know about jiyuka (free style ikebana) before arranging flowers, arranging flowers after thinking about the theme of our own jiyuka, and which flowers should be chose first and then next.  The faces of the participants showed vivid expression and confidence because maybe they could arrange flowers as they liked.  The modern style of ikebana and the European style ikebana were attractive.  I gave them a handout about the introduction of ikebana so that they could take time and read them later.
