The couple found the introduction of Goodwill Guide in the blogs or facebook of the foreigners who had travelled in Japan and have asked goodwill guides in various places to guide them.
At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine we felt cool for a while, seeing lotus flowers with open pink petals and tortoises swimming slowly.  On Komachi Dori Street they happily chose a doll featuring a popular character for their two-year-old niece at a Totoro shop.  At Hasedera Temple they were impressed at how big the statue of Amida and the wooden statue of Kannon are.  At a Japanese restaurant near the temple, they enjoyed eating a set lunch of seasoned tuna bowl.  At Kotokuin Temple, they were pleased to see the Great Buddha, saying, “The Great Buddha looks very handsome.  We are pleased to take pictures of it from behind.”  I hoped they would have a memorable summer stay in Japan.
