The visitor was a Hindu. He was surprised by everything he saw and heard. The hydrangeas on the slope of Jyojyuin were their best season. The visitor, who was full of curiosity, wanted to know the process of making the Great Buddha, and entered its inside to check it.
He worked for a bank’s financing division for six years, and is in Tokyo on business.
One of his colleagues in Tokyo Office highly recommended him going to Kamakura. He visited Kyoto last year, and “Kamakura, the ancient capital of warriors” fascinated him.
India consists of a hierarchical society. He boasted that he can do the second class of business thanks to his family name. I asked him to write a remark on his Kamakura tour:
“I enjoyed the tour very much. E-san was very friendly and had lots of knowledge about all the temples we visited.”
