It was a stormy day with the coming of a typhoon. We planned to go hiking from Jyochiji Temple through Genjiyama Mountain to Kotokuin Temple, but changed it in a hurry, and walked through the city of Kamakura as if to challenge the storm. But the visitor from a very sandy region was quite cheerful. We walked on and on singing “Rain, rain, go away.” After Kamakura, or for the rest of her stay in Japan, I understand that the weather was fine to enjoy hiking in Nikko and walking around the traditional Japanese gardens in Kyoto.
