Meeting of Kanagawa Voluntary Guides in 2009

[Participants] 136 persons, with 6 guests, including a lecturer and their attendants, 6 foreigners, 2 other SGG directors, 10 Odawara/Hakone SGG members, 82 KSGG members, and 30 visitors

After KSGG chairman’s opening address, tributes were given by the guests for our voluntary goodwill guide activities.
Then, Odawara/Hakone SGG Club introduced its golden tours in English, Chinese and Korean, and the Kanagawa Student Guides Federation
presented its compliments. Following KSGG’s introduction of our activities, foreign students and their families and associates from India, Jordan, Cameroon, and Myanmar, whom KSGG had given support, spoke about their impressions under the title, “Getting Acquainted with KSGG, and My Impression of Living in Japan.”
In his lecture, the instructor who had been an active member of JICA made a report on their actual international cooperation activities in Kenya.
During the party, we had a very exciting time with Japanese and foreign guests enjoying ukulele music played by our members in the background.
