The husband and his wife looked astonished and overwhelmed by the Great Buddha at Kotokuin Temple.
As she could not speak English, to my regret, I was unable to communicate directly with the wife, but she thanked me a lot when I said good-bye. I felt we could understand each other without any common language. It was a tour full of laughter all day long and I really enjoyed my first personal guide with them.
