Attending the Reception of AOTS 50th Reunion Anniversary

The meeting of AOTS reunion representatives and their reception were held at AOTS Yokohama Training Center. This is an NGO voluntarily organized at 70 places in 43 countries in the world by AOTS trainees who had studied in Japan, returned to their home countries, and united through their common AOTS training experience.
As we had taken the families of those representatives to Kamakura before the meeting, we received a lot of words from them and their husbands in appreciation for our “family program.”
At the reception, AOTS board chairman, who thanked us for having celebrated the 50th anniversary successfully, emphasized how meaningful it is for them to further deepen their friendship with Japan. Seeing this reunion of alumni trainees from all over the world with my own eyes, I realized the dynamism of Japanese technological development.
