On the way to Kamakura, I explained about the history and the culture of Miura Peninsula, Hayama, Zushi, and Kamakura. At Kotokuin Temple, we divided visitors into two groups and guided them. We walked to Hasedera Temple and looked at A Thousand Statues of Jizo, Amida-do Hall, and Hase Kannon. At Daikoku-do Hall, they were excited to touch the Touching Buddha, saying, “We’re going to be rich.” Then we spent some time on the Ocean -Viewing Terrace and walked through Benten-kutsu Cave. After that we visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in two groups. They were excited to read aloud fortune telling papers which some of them drew. Then we enjoyed walking along Komochi Dori Street and went back to the meeting place just in time and ended our tour.
