The guided tour was conducted in the rain throughout the day, from the beginning at Jomyoji Temple through the end at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.  Although it was a rainy day, we enjoyed the scenic beauty made by the combination of the falling rain and the kare-san-sui garden (a traditional Japanese-style garden made of rocks and stones) at Kisen-an on the compound of Jomyoji Temple.  We also enjoyed Japanese powdered green tea while looking at the garden.  That atmosphere was so amazing that I emphasized it was Japanese culture itself.
