It was fun to guide the friendly visitors. They were interested in my explanation that this area used to be part of the ocean before Commodore Perry had first arrived in Japan and that most of the buildings in this area were burned down because of three big fires. They also carefully looked at the memorial plate of British offers killed in Anglo-Satsuma War. At Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal, we unexpectedly encountered a wedding ceremony, and they took photos of it enthusiastically. They also showed a strong interest in the history of Yokohama and the North Korea spy ship in Japan Coast Guard Museum Yokohama.
