Our visitors were a group of teachers inspecting the course for senior high school trip from Taiwan. At the Museum House, I explained about the difference in the structure of houses due to geographical conditions and the shapes of roofs. Then I explained about the feature of each house outside. At the Yamada House, they were surprised to know that the floor was raised high and gunpowder was made under the floor, saying it was dangerous. (What people made was not the gunpowder itself, but one of the materials for gunpowder.) On the second floor of the Yamashita House, we were very excited to talk about the farm tools.
