When one of the participants fed about 40 to 50 pigeons near Maiden at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, they swarmed around him. When other participants saw him upset, they broke into laughter.  Needless to say, he had become popular, being called "Pigeon Guy" and all the members of his group had become good friends.  They were laughing all the time and sometimes asked me difficult questions.  We were not caught in the rain as if their cheerfulness and power had driven off the rain.  It was a fruitful trip.
