At the party, which began with the greetings of Indian and Japanese delegates, the
Indian delegate said, “Since India is a developing country, our domestic economic
activities are still very brisk and our GDP is growing by 6% now. There are
a lot of promising markets in our country, so we should like Japanese businesses to
invest in our markets without hesitation.” As everyone enjoyed Indian dishes,
business talks and cultural exchange between the two countries were very active among
the attendance. Also, I was impressed by the Indian people living in Japan who
spoke Japanese very well.
I had a chat with a young Japanese woman, who said, “I will go to India to teach
Japanese there.” We hoped that Japan and India would deepen our exchange and understanding more and more in various fields. At the end of the party, a picture of us all was taken to close it in a friendly manner.
