We planned to take an Akai Kutsu (Red Shoes) bus ,which started from Sakuragicho Station, because they had a baby carriage for their baby and it was expected to rain on that day. Actually we had a little rain for a short while even though it was windy. I was worried that they were late for the appointment due to train delays. But everything went well thanks to Mr. S, a KSGG member, who managed to contact their hotel.
We got off at Harbor View Park, walked around Yokohama Foreign Cemetery, and got on the bus again. Getting off at YOKOHAMA WORLD PORTERS, we ate lunch at a Kaitenzushi restaurant (revolving sushi restaurant) where they had wanted to go. They were very surprised to see a children’s hook on chair and said “Sugoi” (great), because it was very convenient. They were in their thirties, loved Japan, and were used to using the Internet a lot during the tour. However, they earnestly listened to a veteran volunteer guide, Mr. S, who had a large stock of topics and talked to them in a friendly manner. They took a lot of pictures at Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal and Yamashita Park. At the end of the tour we shook hands and said goodbye to each other at 4 00 p.m. I got a thank-you email from them later, saying that they could understand Japan much more, which deeply moved me.
