The visitors were given yukata
(Japanese summer kimono) and obi (belt) at the reception desk. After they were helped to put on yukata by the kimono-dressing-staffs, their
face became softened. When all of them
got together at the meeting place, I thought the visitors wearing yukata looked wonderful in the old
house. We listened to the music played
with koto (Japanese harp) and shakuhachi (bamboo flute) that matched
with the atmosphere and they also enjoyed the experience of playing them. Lastly, one KSGG member performed a dance
with jiuta (country songs of Kyoto
and Osaka regions). The appearance of
her in a brilliant kimono made the
atmosphere change and they seemed to be enchanted by her graceful dance. We had the homemade dishes by the director of
Yokomizo Residence at the tea party.
