Guiding Thai Man around Kamakura and Yokohama

[Date & Time] Tuesday, June 17, at 11:00~17:30
[Spots] Kotokuin Temple (Great Buddha), Hasedera Temple, and Sankeien Garden
[Visitor] A Thai man
[Attendant] 1 KSGG member
[Language] English

The visitor came to Japan as a referee of the international table tennis tournament.  He was kind and gentle with smiles.  When we visited the Great Buddha, he was excited and prayed eagerly because he is from Thailand, a Buddhist country.  He was also interested in the joints of the Buddha’s body, so I explained how it had been constructed.  He also entered its body and watched its inside eagerly.  After visiting Hasedera Temple, we headed for Sankeien Garden.  As contrasted with Kamakura, the garden was quiet and full of green.  He delightedly said, “What a good walking course!” and wanted to visit the garden in the autumn color season again.
