2. Interpretation of International Congress of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (1)

[Date & Time] Wednesday, June 18, at 9:0017:00
[Place] Exhibition Hall B in PACIFICO Yokohama,
[Attendants] 5 KSGG members

This congress was held in order to improve the techniques of occupational therapy and so on with 5,000 people from 70 countries.  I interpreted at the booth of “paper folding and making bookmarks” in the morning.  I heard that the paper folding is familiarized as the rehabilitation steps.  I moved to “disability sports” booth in the afternoon.  The pairs of skis, the wheelchairs for basketball games and so on were displayed there, which had been actually used at the Paralympics.  The artificial legs for trial were prepared, too.  I felt the zeal of all the occupational therapists from many countries and the importance of occupational therapy on that day.
