On a chilly snowy day, I guided an English couple, who were passengers of Artemis, a ship on a cruise. Considering their old age, I avoided tight schedule. We had early lunch at a Japanese restaurant after visiting the Great Buddha capped with snow. They seemed to be fully satisfied with our traditional Japanese cuisine, because it had been carefully prepared in terms of not only taste but also looks. Afterward, we strolled Komachi Dori Street, and visited Kaburaki Kiyokata Museum to appreciate the paintings of beauty there.
We went back to Yokohama Station a little earlier to enjoy window-shopping, and had green tea and sweet bean jelly with chestnut at a Japanese-style café. They were interested in the way we drink and eat them. I saw the couple off at a bus stop of the shuttle bus for Osanbashi Pier near the east exit of Yokohama Station.
We had bad weather and worried about it at first, but we enjoyed eating delicious dishes and chatting to make our tour end with a lot of smiles.
