I was asked by an American working for American Embassy, whom I had guided around Kamakura the year before, to guide their parents from Canada who were visiting Japan. I guided six people, the family of three generations, around less crowded Kamakura in a leisurely pace at the end of the year, seeing the last beauty of the maple leaves with autumn tints. While I was guiding them, the parents told me that they live in a lakeside town in Canada. As I said that one of my friends live in the same town, surprisingly, they said they knew him. IT’S A SMALL WORLD!
