It was great to be a fine day, although it was unfortunate for us that the cherry blossoms start to bloom later than usual and most cherry trees along Dankazura were still in buds.
At Hasedera Temple, I guided them to Ocean-Viewing Terrace, Revolving Bookshelf, Daikoku-do Hall, Hase Kannon, Amida Budda against Evils, Bonsho (Temple Bell), A Thousand Statue of Jizo, Water-Poured Jizo, Swastika Pond, and Benten-kutsu Cave in order. At Kotokuin Temple, some went inside the Great Buddha. We took Enoden line to go back to Kamakura Station and visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. All of them drew fortune telling papers written in English there.
Since the guests belong to an animation club, they had a great interest in Japan. Some of them said, “Our dream of coming to Japan, which we have had since we were high school students, has come true this time.” I was pleased that they said, “We would like KSGG to guide us if we come to Japan again.”
