Zoorasia Walking--Visitors are Getting More Diverse and Global

[Date & Time] Sunday, April 26, at 10:00 ~ 15:00
[Spots] Yokohama Zoorasia
[Visitors] 36 persons, with 21 from China, 3 from Vietnam, 2 each from the Philippines、Pakistan, and Indonesia, and 1 each from India, France, Finland, Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar
[Attendants] 23 KSGG Members, including 2 KSGG associates

We held Zoorasia Walking after an interval of six years. Fortunately, it was a fine day. Since the zoo is very large, the visitors and KSGG members were divided into groups to enjoy walking and watching rare animals we can seldom see in other zoos.
At noon, we spread a plastic sheet to sit on and had lunch enjoying a chat.
Our visitors to our events like this were apparently more diverse and global than before, including AOTS trainees, foreign students KSGG members tutor, and others including foreign residents who learned the event by our leaflets. Also, we are happy to know that we can meet our visitors’ families through this event, whom we may not have a chance to talk with otherwise.
Thanks to the KSGG attendants, we could make this tour a successful one without any trouble. I really appreciate their cooperation.
