On arriving at Yokomizo “Yashiki” with the parents whose children
attend Saint Maur International School, we started to help them get dressed in yukata (cotton kimono). Being so impressed
with themselves in yukata, they took
pictures of each other. In the hall the koto ( Japanese harp) and shakuhachi (bamboo flute) concert was
held. At the end, they sang “Sakura
Sakura” altogether. After that, they
tried playing the koto and shakuhachi for themselves. Then one KSGG member in glamorous kimono for dancing appeared. The visitors seemed to be fascinated
with her graceful jiuta (country
song) dance. Eating their lunch they
brought with them, they all gave their impressions of the party. The director of Yokomizo “Yashiki” said hello
to them and explained about the residence.
We got to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere and had a wonderful
time.
