At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, a
wedding ceremony was being held on the stage
with
cherry blossoms falling on it, and Japanese ceremonial court music and the
sound of a traditional Japanese flute were heard. The visitors enjoyed part of
Japanese traditional culture there. On
the way to Kamakura Station, we enjoyed tasting free food samples in Komachi
Dori Shopping Street. At Hasedara Temple,
we were welcomed by beautiful spring flowers and had precious lunch served by a
monk who seemed to be a trainee at the restaurant near the observatory, where
the view of Yuigahama Beach was fantastic.
After lunch, we took photos in front of the Great Buddha as usual and
ended our trip by saying good bye to the statue of Benzaiten, the Goddess of
Eloquence, Music, and Art and kites on Enoshima Island.
