The participants learned Peruvian cooking. After listening to the explanations of the recipe, the participants were divided into three groups and then we started cooking. Referring to the three pages of English instructions, we cooked the specialties. Looking around the classroom, I found all of the participants were women except me. I was assigned to peel the onions and collect the garbage by the leader. When we made sure that the soup was ready, we made sandwiches with the cooked stuff and baked a delicious cake. Then we moved to the adjoining dining room. We said Bonappetit and started to eat lunch. As we introduced ourselves and talked about our hobbies, we warmed up to each other. We spent an enjoyable time.
