Firstly, we guided our visitor to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Although it was a weekday, a wedding ceremony was held, which brightened our tour more. We walked around the precincts of the shrine, talking about the similarities and difference between Taiwan and Japan. In the afternoon, we guided our visitor to Kotokuin Temple. At Kotokuin Temple, we saw the Great Buddha sitting under the clear blue sky. In Taiwan, they have larger Great Buddha than those in Kotokuin Temple and in Nara. They said that the Great Buddha in Taiwan is made of cement or something. We were pleased to hear their compliment that the Great Buddha in Kamakura was beautiful in appearance.
