The wife lived in Tokyo when she was a child. When she came to Japan on a passenger boat last April for the first time in half a century, she liked Japan very much. So she came back to Japan again this time. They asked SGG clubs in several places to guide them.
We were glad to see each other again. In front of Yokohama Customs, Yokohama Marine Tower, and Yamashita Park, I explained about the history before the opening of the country. At Yokohama Archives of History, they seemed to be deeply interested in a laurel named Tamakusu, the exhibits showing how Commodore Perry set foot on Yokohama, and his portraits which were quite different from real Perry. Around Yokohama Stadium, coming across a lot of baseball fans, we changed our topic to Aussie football. After we walked through Zou-no-hana Park, we returned to Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal and said good-by.
