One of the visitors was a fourth Japanese American man, who came to Japan for the first time last year in order to work as a volunteer for the Great East Japan Earthquake. He came to Japan with his family again this year. For their mother, a third Japanese-American, this was the first visit by her to her homeland. She was deeply impressed with how nice, generous and disciplined people are, and also safe and clean towns are. They enjoyed listening to a story of samurai at Jufukuji Temple and washing their coins at Zeniarai Benten Shrine, which most visitors do. (It is believed that coins can increase if we wash them.) All of us hiked leisurely enjoying beautiful scenery and chatting, taking care of the elderly mother.
