The American couple came from San Diego, which established a sister city relationship with Yokohama in 1957. They seemed to be impressed with the Statue of Protectorate God of Water and the plate indicating the direction toward San Diego, commenting,“Yokohama is a compact and interesting city.” They could enjoy only a part of the beauty of the Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal from the car window. They wanted to come to Yokohama again in the cherry blossom season.
