[Spot] The Fujiko-F-Fujio Museum
Anime characters were painted on the body of the bus to the museum, which shows the enthusiasm of the Kawasaki City Government to advertise this museum. The museum was bursting with parents and their children. I saw his study reproduced, where the cartoonist created his enjoyable anime and manga characters. Seeing a pile of documents and a lot of things related with his various hobbies, I understood what had had him create his pleasant works. In order to have children harbor a dream, the inside of the building was skillfully designed, utilizing the small space. As they have a lot of visitors from abroad, especially from Asian countries, the pamphlets and auto guidance equipments in English, Korea, and Chinese are available, too. His outstanding work, Doraemon, was manga about a Japanese family. Nobita’s family was one of typical families of ordinary Japanese. This anime was an enjoyable one not only for children but also for adults, because the cartoonist interweaved the story with dreams and adventures. In that sense, it plays a role of introducing Japanese culture to abroad.
