Our group consisted of three Cambodian guests and three guides, KSGG members. I mainly guided a participant, Mr. L, who spoke good Japanese. We visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and took photos with cute children clad in kimono for Shichigosan, the seven-five-three festival. We were lucky to see a bridal ceremony after paying respects at the main hall. Mr. L had a strong interest in Japanese culture and history. He enthusiastically listened to my explanations, though not so excellent, and asked many questions about them. I felt like asking about his country, Cambodia. However, as he was strongly interested in Japan, we mainly talked about Japan.
