Year-end Party at AOTS Yokohama Training Center (YKC)--Trainees were all entertainers

[Date and Time] Thursday, December 31, at 17:30 ~ 20:30
[Spots] AOTS Yokohama Training Center (YKC)
[Participants] About 140 trainees from Indonesia, Thailand, China, the Philippines and Vietnam
[Attendants] 3 KSGG members and 1 observer

At the party we first celebrated the birthdays of twelve trainees who were born in December. Then a singing contest was held by trainees representing their countries, and an Indonesian group sang “Bengawan Solo” first of all. Since this is a popular song in Japan, a KSGG member sang it together enthusiastically. All the members of their national groups put out their abilities as if they were entertainers. When the director of the YKC Training Center said before the trainees fully enjoying the party, “Most of the trainees visited Japan for the first time and, as they came to the Center straight after their arrival in Japan, how they live and what they experience here will influence their future emotions toward Japan,” I could realize what he said. Also, I reassured that our guiding them around Kamakura would be helpful to this objective.
