The visitors liked to visit Odawara in the
morning and Kamakura in the afternoon. A
OHSGG(Odawara Hakone SGG Club) member
guided them around Odawara Castle, took them to Fujisawa Station, and joined us
in Kamakura. We took Enoden Train to
Hase Station to visit Hasedera Temple and Kotokuin Temple. The “Kamakura International Festival” was being
held at Kotokuin Temple. Unluckily, as
it was a rainy day, they were about to bring the festival to a close. We took a late lunch at a Chinese restaurant. On the tatami
mat room in the restaurant, the OHSGG member sang a traditional folk song, “Hakone
Mago Uta” ringing a bell. Everybody was
enchanted by the song and applauded. Then
we hurried to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine quickly. At Kamakura Station, I gave Japanese paper
dolls to the couples as a souvenir and saw them off.
