Guiding a Malaysian Couple around Kamakura

[Date & Time] Monday, April 15, at12:45~17:00
[Spots] Kotokuin Temple (Great Buddha) and Hasedera Temple
[Visitor] 1 Chinese Malaysian couple
[Attendant] 1 KSGG member

The couple talk with their parents in Chinese, talk in English at work, and talk with each other in both Chinese and English.  So I guided them in Chinese this time.  At first we headed for the Great Buddha in Kotokuin Temple.  The husband was absorbed in taking pictures, and the wife listened to my explanation eagerly.  She even asked a question about the bronze casting of lotus petals under the Great Buddha.  Next we visited Hasedera Temple, where the peony flowers were in full bloom.  The scenery from its walking path was wonderful and both of them shouted with joy.  They were glad to purify their hands by the water scooped with dippers.
