I attended the seminar hosted by the Foreign Ministry as an interpreter for 3 officers from Tourism Division, Industry Department of The Commerce and Industry Labor Bureau of Kanagawa Prefecture. After the representatives from 5 areas, including Kanagawa Prefecture, gave a presentation on local attractiveness of their area, in their booth, each participant promoted their industries, facilities, and tourist attractions to the diplomats individually. In the booth of Kanagawa Prefecture, The diplomats were especially interested in mosaic boxes and tried to untie 10 to 12 gimmicks to open the boxes. I hope that the 76 participants from 61 countries will recommend Kanagawa Prefecture as one of the attractive areas to visit in their embassies.
