Mr. C is an architect from San Francisco. On the first day we walked around in the rain. At Sankeien Garden it was quiet and irises were beautiful, which perfectly matched the image of Japan. On the second day, on Wakamiyaoji Street in Kamakura, a group of junior high school students asked my guests, "Can you speak English?" Mr. C got puzzled at the moment, but he answered their questions politely. The students had photos taken with my guests and left us saying "Thank you." On the third day, we enjoyed visiting some Zen temples. Kitakamakura was beautiful with fresh green leaves and hydrangeas. On the fourth day, we visited a sake brewery by Mr. C's request. We were planning to stay in Enoshima for a short time, but we went far into the Island, even to the Observation Lighthouse and Iwaya Caves. On the last day, at The Railway Museum in Omiya, Mr. C, a railway fan, took a lot of pictures and videos. At Omiya Bonsai Village we saw the Japanese-style house. The president of the lumber company which was in charge of its design and construction explained to us about the essence of Japanese architecture. Mr. C was greatly amazed at the unexpected meeting with him.
