The 11th WakuWaku Festival at Kohoku International Exchange Lounge

[Date and Time] Sunday, October 9, at 10:00~15:00
[Spot] Kohoku International Exchange Lounge
[Attendants] 10 KSGG members

Kohoku International Exchange Lounge is at Kikuna along the Toyoko Line. The 1st floor of the lounge is usually used as a care plaza and the 2nd floor is used as a place for foreigners to study Japanese and for international exchange between foreigners and the Japanese.
KSGG is a voluntary registration group of this lounge. We had taken part in the annual Waku Waku Festival as staff members for the reception and for the bicycle parking area before. However, last year, we served not only as staff but also as a participant in the event section: A KSGG member, Mr. H, sang chanson solo. This year, 5 KSGG members performed choral singing. Many enjoyable events were planned for this festival such as sales of world products, a play, Journey to the West, performed by those who study Japanese, Japanese speeches, musical performances with exotic musical instruments like Alba and Chinese two-string fiddle, and Thai dance. In the outside were food stalls. Each event attracted many people. Thank you for the cooperation given by the KSGG members who took part in this festival. (The number of the participants of this festival was 1,182 this year and it was the largest ever.)
