A KSGG member, Mr. K and I alternately explained about what we could see outside the window of the bus, Japanese culture and Japanese history. At every sightseeing spot, visitors listened to our explanations eagerly and asked various questions. At a shop in front of Kotokuin Temple, several visitors bought green tea-flavored ice-cream cones as they heard President Obama had eaten when he had visited Kamakura. This was a heartwarming scene. At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, a wedding ceremony was held, which pleased our visitors. After we said good-by at a parking lot, we saw off our visitors who would leave for a dinner party. Although we felt a little nervous and anxious about our schedule and all that, we could enjoy guiding the researchers, taking time, and we could end guiding almost on time.
