We met at “Kamakura Guest House” at 9:00 a.m. and went to see the Great Buddha close to it. I explained about the ornaments of the Tanabata festival (the Star Festival) decorated on the Second Torii (gateway) of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. I wrote some important points which they should be careful about during their stay in Japan.
1) Plug Style: As a plug used in Australia has three transformed legs, you cannot use it in Japan. You should get a plug adapter at an electric appliance store.
2) Credit cards such as Visa issued in your home country are not accepted in Japanese banks but are accepted in post offices.
