[Visitors] 25 JICA participants from 15 countries, with 6 from Indonesia, 3 from Syria, 2 each from Egypt, Ethiopia, and Iraq, and 1 each from Brazil, China, Laos, Liberia, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, Tajikistan, and the Philippines
[Attendants] 16 KSGG members and 4 observers
Among the participants there were two women on wheelchairs from Syria and Tajikistan this time. They laughed and talked with other members pleasantly without showing any tiredness. At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, those two women got off their chairs and walked around with their sticks to appreciate scenery and enjoy taking pictures. The participants from Indonesia took pictures of a wedding ceremony held at the Maiden in admiration of its wonderfulness.
At Kotokuin Temple, one of the participants said, “I’m from a Buddhist country like Japan, and we also have a Buddhist statue like this. How beautiful the Buddha is!” and clasped her hands in prayer.
I had quite a time today, for I could guide the visitors happily. Waving their hands, they said “Thank you” and “Good-bye” over and over, and then they left for Tokyo.
