At Engakuji Temple, they looked very happy to see maples with red leaves. They walked within the precincts leisurely, and then went to Hachimangu Shrine on foot. At Kotokuin, they enjoyed the yellow leaves of gingko trees and saw the peaceful smile of the Great Buddha as usual.
Both the foreign students and KSGG members enjoyed the calm weather of late autumn. Twenty years have passed since KSGG began to guide foreign students to Kamakura. At Kotokuin Temple, we asked one of us, who had engaged in this tour of Kamakura from the outset, to make a compliment to them.
