It was a one-day tour to guide a large number of participants in one group. We confirmed the number of people in each bus, the schedule of places to visit, the timetable, and so on with the forum staff at Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel. The female bus driver of the 2nd bus on which I got was very helpful and cooperative. She had a smile all day long even though we had to get in and out of the bus at a congested urban area or change the timetable. Most participants had checked about each visiting spot in advance. Although the participants walked freely during the tour basically when we got off the bus, Mr. K, a KSGG member, explained at the entrance of Sankeien Garden and in front of NIPPON MARU that we had to keep to the time schedule. I felt comfortable being with the students as all the students were well-mannered and punctual with the rendezvous times in the urban areas. The participants seemed to be impressed with beautiful flowers in the Sankeien Garden and Yamate District after it had stopped raining. They enjoyed taking photos at each spot in Yokohama, which is charactered by its panoramic landscape.
The participants who wanted to go shopping and so on stayed at the Yokohama Landmark Tower and the buses which the rest of the participants got on returned to the hotel at 19:10, when we finished our guiding.
