Those groups of intern doctors were invited and trained in Japan for three weeks so that they could study about the medical technology of artificial dialysis. Since they came from the countries of perpetual summer, we worried about their light clothing in wintertime. Luckily, however, it was a fine and sunny day.
From the observatory on the 69th floor of the Landmark Tower Yokohama, we could see Tokyo Sky Tree far off on our right and, on our left, Mt. Fuji covered with snow glistening in the sun. Being moved by the view, the intern doctors took pictures of them. At Aka- Renga Park, youngsters enjoyed skating smoothly on the skating rink built specially in this season and it was so crowded at the entrance of the hall at Osanbashi Pier because Hula Dance Show was held, which our visitors were pleased to see. They attentively listened to our explanations about the history of opening the country and the characteristics of the structure of Osanbashi Pier.
After lunch, we enjoyed strolling from France-yama through Motomachi Shopping Street to Ishikawacho Station, where we took the JR Keihintohoku Line to Ofuna Station. We escorted our visitors to Iryohojin Tokushukai Shonan Kamakura General Hospital. There we met Mr.O who had requested this guiding and our guiding was over without any trouble.
