My guests married this January and came to Japan for their honeymoon this time. They arrived in Japan the day before and came to Kamakura for the first place to visit. I stirred myself to fulfill my important role.
At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, as they demonstrated Ogasawara style of Japanese art of archery, I explained about Yabusame, the shooting of arrows by samurai while riding horses, and we saw it with interest.
Whenever I guide personal visitors, I think it is better to guide individual visitors than a big group because I can communicate with the visitors more deeply and guide them flexibly at their request. This would make the tour enjoyable for both guests and a guide.
At the end of the tour, when I gave them a Japanese paper doll from KSGG as a souvenir, they looked happy. After Kamakura they were planning to go around Japan for two weeks. I felt fulfilled by guiding them for a half a day on the first day of their honeymoon and having a nice time with them.
