At first, we enjoyed making instant ramen noodles at “Chicken Ramen Factory.” We put the noodles into a plastic bag with our own drawing to take it home. At “My Cupnoodles Factory,” we made our one and only cup noodles by choosing our favorite soup and ingredients, and putting them into the cup with our own drawing.
In the museum, all kinds of instant noodles on the market in the past are exhibited in chronological order, where we found a lot of old familiar noodles and enjoyed talking about them. Momofuku Ando, the founder of the company, invented instant noodles in a work shed in the yard of his house during the post-war period and exhibited is a realistic reproduction of his work shed. This museum is unique in its educational aspects for children. They emphasize the importance of being creative and achieving on the process of making things.
